This website is a repository of useful interactive tools for dieters and anyone who is interested in nutrition. Whether you are an athlete, or a vegetarian, or a diabetic, visit our site often. We are working on many nutrient analysis tools to help you manage your nutrition. We will continually add new features and improve existing ones to make them as useful as possible. Eventually, you will be able to specify your nutrition requirements, your food preferences, and our online software will automatically generate a complete set of daily or weekly menus for you, hence menuELF.
The key difference between this website and many other diet, nutrition and food websites is that instead of just word descriptions of various diets, menuELF.com offers many interactive tools to help visitors evaluate their preferred diet, find desired foods and design their menus to achieve optimal nutrition based on the diet of their choosing.
For example, if you follow the Zone diet, our online Zone tools will automatically calculate the Zone protein, carb and fat blocks for your foods. If you are interested in the Food Pyramid approach, our interactive software will automatically generate daily Food-Pyramid menus for you based on your calorie specifications and food preferences. Or if you are under a restrictive renal diet, our online food analysis will provide nutrient data on calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, water, i.e., the nutrients that are most crucial in your diet. Our goal is to provide visitors with easy, fast and convenient means to find healthy foods and to design optimal menus for better health.
We do not advocate or promote any diet. We just provide the tools for visitors to monitor their diet and make informed decision about their nutrition.

menuELF.com is officially launched in January 2009. It will take us a month or so to deploy the food databases and their analysis tools. Please come back in a couple of weeks if the tools are not yet available.
When you see an animated icon such as one on the left, the interactive tool relevant to the article you are reading is available. Click on the icon to use the tool. Currently, only some rudimentary features are implemented. We will continuously upgrade the capabilities of these tools during the coming months.
